Why doesn't rec-tube play videos?

There are several similar videos, some new and some old, does anyone know if the membership is paid, will I be able to watch the videos? Does anyone know why that happens?

This appears in the video when it is not playing
the video could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported

That message appears in some videos, in others it doesn't.

Some videos are a different format (.avi .mp4 , etc) there are a few sites that won’t play older videos because it’s an older format. If you can download them somehow, you could get them to play with VLC media player.

Site is dead. Not updated. Servers broken. Many old videos no longer stored on server only screenshot image so wont play. If it not playing forget it is gone.

When it was active, the videos still did not play, and they were current

If I can get it to play with VLC, but that happens when it gives me the link, that is in a different format with which search engine I use, I use Chrome, any suggestions?

I honestly don’t know the answer for that. I’ve had similar issues with other sites and when I downloaded the video it was because my browser didn’t support the video format. At one point there was a way to integrate VLC as the default video player but it doesn’t seem to work like that anymore.

Just checked it out and you’re right. It almost seems like they made a paysite and are now using rec-tube as a redirect to that site. Every video I tried failed so I think you pretty much summed it up
