So you contacted authorities over something you yourself attempted to partake in? Weren't you worried about telling on yourself?
Anyway, I can maybe give some insight into this. "Token selling" is an unusual topic I haven't seen discussed here and never really expected to see discussed here. But I am aware that it goes on, particularly among Russian camgirls. (whether they put in their bio Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Serbia, Hungary, etc...all Russians)
I once saw a Russian camgirl and her studio manager on CB working together to sell tokens to a Russian chatter, in public chat. They were speaking in code and wink-wink nudge-nudge. So nobody who wasn't paying attention had any clue what was actually going on.
The Russian chatter sent OSMT to the model. Once the model received the verification on her phone that the transaction was complete and successful, her studio manager gave the guy his tokens. The tokens were legit tokens that had been tipped to the model by blissfully unaware normal chatters. The model and studio manager then split the profits 50/50.
Up to this point I'd had no idea that token selling was even a thing. But as I researched it I found out that models/studio managers can sell tokens that the model has earned (using OSMT) for significantly more money than they would get by cashing them out with the camsite. Plus the buyer gets significantly more tokens than he'd get with the same amount of money by legitimately purchasing them on the camsite. It's win-win for both parties.
As I watched it play out, it seemed that selling tokens was a routine thing with both this model/studio manager. I have no idea how this service is advertised. But maybe chat spammers, sketchy sites, and TG as mentioned in the OP's post. I got the impression that she normally sells tokens to her "daddies" who in turn use to take her to extended privates. It's hard to imagine how many times tokens are transferred in circles between the model, the studio manager, and whichever daddy she's servicing that day.
To top it off, at the end of the camsite's pay period she still gets to cash those same tokens out! It's almost comical. It's like having your cake and eating it too.
I'm sure camsites are aware of tokens being transferred in circles with Russian camgirls and their studio managers and certain chatters. I'm sure camsites could change their site algorithms to freeze any tokens that have been transferred more than once until they're cashed in.
However, these camsites are probably also very aware that Russian models are probably their biggest content, their biggest draw of paying chatters. If any of these sites were to put a stop to tokens being transferred in circles, Russian models would simply abandon that site and go to another platform. Turning the camsite into the new Myspace.
The worst part of the whole thing is that chatters who play by the rules and only deal with legitimately-purchased tokens are always the ones who get screwed and always get the short end of the stick.
To quote a very wise user here on this forum "VikTsoi" who sums it all up perfectly: "If these guys are off website daddies, you don't have any chance to get a good show anyway with the girl. She will just use you as an ATM as much as she can. The good shows and freebies will be only for the daddy who is paying her rent and goodies using WU, PayPal or some crypto wallet [these things are what I refer to as OSMT]. Just move to the next one."
If anyone else can shed even more light into this topic, feel free to chime in. It's a rather fascinating topic.
