Hello. Firstly, I want to say that in Russia there are no law regulating work in the studio. All of us work a little illegal and solve this problem differently. In answers below I'll tell only about my studio. How things are at other studios, I can guess from the stories of the models who came to me from there or from the advertisements of the studios.
1. I have lovense toys that we buy in half with models. It means that I buy it first and then take the half of its price from models salary. All the other toys are on me. Outfits, toys, other things for shows my studio buys itself. The things that you order using a wishlist we hand over to a model, of course.
2. Model takes all the toys with her if she quits.
3. There's no much girls that want to work in webcam. It means that if a model comes and she fails to earn money that satisfies her and us, but has a desire to work, then we of course change the strategy and try to find a niche for the model.
Very high turnover in the studio. Let's be honest, if the model came to get money, she needs to have big tips in her first week. If not, then there is a high probability that the model will leave forever, disappointed in the webcam. Very few of them can patiently educate and despite the tiny checks they finally win.
I will not deny that this is a business for me and I earn money on the work of models, but a lot of girls get knowledge here on how to work and money for equipment for independent work.

There is always an interview prior to any trial period. Some studios do have formal contracts, some others even use rent as a contract. Studios do have rules and strict schedules. Some of them use standings to emulate competition between models and improve productivity. Some others offer rewards based on models weekly or monthly earnings. The more they earn, the better will be the revenue share. Finally, some studios have bad managers and toxic employees, just like in any business.
