ffmpeg would allow you to convert any video into mp4.
command line would be something like this:
ffmpeg -i "inputfile.mp4" -map 0 -c:a copy -c:s copy -c:v libx264 "output.mp4"

Worst case, you can play it and record it at the same time. If you do decide to do this, use a very good quality player. This also gives the option to edit.

Completely pointless. Why waste time? No need to recode video that has no problems. Video downloaded from chaturbate is already h264 mp4 file.

Yes I too use formatfactory, it's great.
But I use the 32 bit version, I find the 64 bit crashes when doing a fast cut
on both my high end PCS
i3's with 16GB Ram, Win10
i7 with 32GB Ram and an M2 drive, Win11
It can do a lot and not just with videos.
Also for still images I use windows Film & TV (Win10 & 11), if the file is local (Not on a network drive) you get the option to 'Save Photo from Video'

You can simply use IDM (internet download manager).
if you are talking about the private video it's self on your CB account, Use chrome, install the Chrome Allow Right-Click extension
then click the video to play, then right click it, it should give you the option to save the file out.
I know this works on the videos in a rooms profile, never had a private recording before, I'm a cheap mother fucker who just spies lol.
