If they cashed out prior to the ban, perhaps they already had been paid. Cam whores get paid out on the 15th and at the end of the month, if a certain threshold was met ($50 i.e. 1,000 tokens according to
CB's FAQs).

If this is true, then reading a couple of posts from
punker barbie (a CB rep) on ACF from 2017 may shed some light on how CB follows up on
18 U.S.C. 2257 violation reports:

Follow-up post
The last paragraph of the second linked post from the CB rep states that cam whores can get paid out even after being banned, specifically in the context of the types of bans that people are assuming that they've been banned for.
On one side, even if CB does payout, these are studio accounts. The studio receives the money, and the studio is likely to withhold payment. Most contracts that the studios make the cam whores sign in order to work at the studio have clauses in them concerning what happens if the cam whore no longer works on the sites.
Not to mention, claiming that they weren't paid even if they were, incentivizes people to send them more money off-site. But, you should be careful. Althoguh rare, some of these off-platform (Snapchat, Onlyfans, etc.) accounts are ran by the studio admins, not the cam whores. So unless you've seen them in a livestream on the other platform
post-ban, there's a chance you're not even sending money to the cam whore.
That being said, I doubt it was
only due to "
wearing pigtails." I've known a handful of cam whores that have received
warnings for such, but never a ban (that's not to say it isn't possible). Also, Dora (dd_sss) never wore pigtails, yet she was banned all the same.
So, if it wasn't an issue of the age-verified IDs not matching the cam whores on stream (which could still be the reason for the ban), then most likely it was a culmination of simulating acts suggesting that they are below the Age of Majority: pigtails, playing with stuffed animals, schoolgirl uniforms, etc., ...; i.e. a violation of section IV.c.ii of CB's
Terms and Conditions, and not just one solo incident.
