This is because muting greys is not a true "
feature" in Chaturbate. This cannot simply be toggled on/off within a model's Bio or Chat options, as can be done at other sites.
The way that greys get auto-muted on Chaturbate is via certain Apps and Bots. Apps and Bots are basically the same thing: custom code that someone other than Chaturbate developed and uploaded to their site; except Bots typically perform only one specific function, whereas Apps can perform many at once. Chaturbate only allows 1 App and 3 Bots to be run per room. Most models run an app for their Lovense toys and topic/goal management, a bot for a tip menu, a bot for some game (roll the dice), and a bot to spam reminders to Follow and Thumbs Up. So unless they swap out one of their bots, or find an App that has been coded to also handle greys plus everything else that they want (and is maintained / still works), there is no extra slot to run custom code that mutes greys.
Additionally, the Apps and Bots that were on in her prior stream, by default are on (or pre-configured to be started with a click of a button) the next time she streams. So after a studio admin has things setup, or the model did it herself / did it with help from a mods/members, she's not ddeleted accountng around in the configuration settings to see what else is possible.
Anymore these days, people only have a surface-level of knowledge of Apps/Bots on Chaturbate, if even that. So as the old guard changes command, the newer models are fuck-all clueless. Thus, we see a retuning trend of greys being the skid mark of chat.
