CamGirlFinder.net: New Features

Hi,
I just want to announce that https://camgirlfinder.net has new features.

1. A model search by name.
The search does fuzzy matching so it will also show names that are similar.
Here is an example search: https://camgirlfinder.net/models?m=Kati3Kat

2. Model profile pages.
Which show the schedule, meaning you can now easily see on which weekdays and time the account is most likely online.
The profile page also shows a list of all persons that appeared on that account.
Here is an example: https://camgirlfinder.net/models/mfc/Kati3kat

Name search works pretty fine. Very useful feature. Thanks.

But today, image search works sometines. Right now not.

Images fail to loading but I think the problem is my browser.

It's not your browser, I've been having the same issue since last night - it flashes finished for a second, then back to active search - and it continues like this infinitely.

The CDN cached the job result page too early (in an unfinished state). Sadly I did not notice this during local development.
The processing of jobs was not affected. So if you remember your job ids you should now be able to open the results again.

I use a linux distro that doesnt show webp images. I guess this is good for performance of site but would it be posible to create a "jpg" version of page??

Thanks anyway, your page is very useful.

Which linux distro has problems with webp? And why does it depend on the distro at all?
All major browsers support webp images, independent of the operating system. The only one I know of that does not, is Safari on iOS, which I knowingly ignored.
So the answer is no, it is probably not worth it for a niche linux distro. Sorry.

This is a good idea, I also noticed that the background is often very useful to identify the correct model.
But sadly it is not possible to add a search by background feature at the moment.

The best way to support me is to create a chaturbate or stripchat account via the links on the job result page and then buy some tokens.
I will get a small provision from the camsites and you have tokens that you can give to the models Big Grin

Crawling chaturbate is not the problem. But on chaturbate the location field is free text, so at least half of the models put random stuff there. For the other half heavy post processing would be required to handle all the different spellings and extra text like smileys to get useful country data.

myfreecams only provides a continent field (at least it is not a free text which means it is actually usable).
camsoda does not seam to have any location fields.
cam4 provides good country and language fields.
bongacams listing has sometimes a language field. But it looks like it would require a lot of profile page crawling to get locations (which also seams to be a free text).
stripchat has a country field that is often empty (but usable) and a languages field.

So overall it would probably be possible but the results would not be very good especially for chaturbate and myfreecams. Both together account for around 54% of the models. I will maybe revisit this in the future but right now country search has no priority.

I just pushed another feature update Smile

1. The job results page now shows the relative time since the model was last seen online.
Keep in mind the last online data is updated together with the image data. This means the most recent date can only be the day of the last database update. But to see which accounts are still active this should be good enough.

2. The much bigger change happened on the profile page. You can now directly see the 20 most similar persons in the database for each person of that model account. So if you already known the name of a model this is a great way to find other new or old accounts.

Let me know if you have any suggestions for more improvements.

P.S. Do you like the translated relative dates? Or would you prefer just english?

Its to expensive to rent GPUs or store the raw images on remote servers. So for now it will remain a manual process.
You can expect the next update in 1 or 2 days. I will try to update more frequently in future.

Unfortunately, not all categories are here, but at least something. You can get full size photo by adding "&wm=-1&wi=-1&mtcr=9:16" to query

Unfortunately, I couldn't find an easy way to find all the profiles from SkyPrivate and CamContact, but I'm not a professional, maybe you can do better. If it works, people will be able to find model profiles on a wide variety of sites. That would make your site the best it can be. Thanks for what you do, there is a special place in heaven for you!

More private show focused sites are difficult. The current image collection bot is not capable of handling these. The structure/type of the collected images would also not fit well in the current database and the assumptions the search makes.

That's also the reason why LiveJasmin & Streamate are still missing.
