Sites like CWT have an aspect of fandom that I like being part of. Especially when it comes to retired cam models and "keeping their memory alive" (admittedly a questionable motivation). The rub with that is they might not want their content floating around. It might not be around on the Internet forever, but it'll be around at least for a while. The right to be forgotten is important for digital privacy, though to some extent cam models have to accept from the beginning that they can't control what happens to their content and image. As fans we tend to want to respect what our models want (don't we?). Except we usually don't know what they want. Maybe they're fine with it, maybe they're not. I hate to think some of them quit because they couldn't make a living, and here we are uploading their content FOR FREE to websites that make money from ads.
you have certainly a point on this, but this entire topic was never black or white.
I think up to a certain extent its good, that are free videos floating around, that is marketing,
which by the way many models recognized as an opportunity and they put their shows on
phub, xvideos etc as promo videos nowadays.
I have found more favorites this way, that I saw a promo video
or a free one, then took the model to private. also not just us use these free recordings, more
models reuse their public shows and resell them on manyvids for example. but still
the point is you cannot expect everything for free and in my eyes for great collections which
are not even floating around you gotta give something, either trade or pay some bucks.
