Constant pressure on your hosts, registrars, dns providers, cdns, who might cover your ass for a while but not forever. You need good nerves to run a site with not one single legally obtained or licensed file.

Boo.
All social media got deactivated (not deleted, big diff) for damage control.
Since there is no way we can keep the resonance under any kind of control in a longer downtime (as you can see what is happening anyway).
It turned from a rather short downtime in a full blown cascade problem which we now have to recover from.
As it stands, still no data loss.
Bots offline.
But to clear at least some myths:
- not sure where you got that wallet from you guys are talking about, but every user has its own wallet address, so how on earth would all end up one a single btc address anyway? So, not ours.
- not a provider problem. oh and, your math is wrong, by a lot, since we are not even close to 100pb.
- forgot something? probably
So, official update: no update, but we are not gone nor made a run.

Maybe I am being naive, but what's illegal about these sites. Aren't they operating from countries where this is legal?

You didn't mention that camshowhub offered a feature for models to claim their contents and earns coins through the website. Such feature cancel any subsequent copyright complain.

Google search engine randomly crawl websites and monetize search results based on their public contents, without asking to the authors in the first place. Google is not sued for this, even tough these contents are protected by the copyright law.
CSH was doing the same: referencing and caching public contents.

And calling what csh did "caching" is completely absurd.
Why do you think the owners of such sites go to great lengths hiding their identity when it's all so legal as you say it?
What they are doing now is okay. Snapshots and pointing to the original source, the model's room.
But go ahead, start your site with cam recordings and write here what happens. It would actually be interesting.

Not to mention, if you have a good legal counsel and a strong technical background, you should be find. And if you don't, as long as you are not an American citizen and you don't live in the United States, don't plan a trip to that country, don't record American models, don't allow American IPs, customers or payment providers on your website, you should be safe, at least from the DCMA bullshit.
