Hi
Has anyone noticed that until recently it was possible to watch private stripchat show on CamShowHub? Even now CSH is able to record those shows.

Someone know how did they manage to do this? I try to reproduce this bug but I fail the whole time Sad

Maybe someone made a backup from they site before they disabled show preview?

This was not our intention and once we noticed this would be the case, we disabled the live player.

It is not as easy to reproduce, given how the bug works.

However, we are working with stripchat to have it fixed so we stop recording that by accident and also to be able to enable the live player again.

It's really incredible that you found this bug. Have you studied all of they code and network transmission?
All I could get was the m3u8 file so that I can download public stream but after the model goes private it's automatically stops. The only way that I can come up with is too go on a private show and save all transmission data and then try to use it for spying.

It's really incredible that you found this bug. Have you studied all of they code and network transmission?
All I could get was the m3u8 file so that I can download public stream but after the model goes private it's automatically stops.

We have to reverse engineer every cam site we store to be able to achieve that level of efficiency and coverage.
However, in this instance, it is a side effect that's caused by how we do things in general.
Which is also why we work with them to have it fixed, since it is not our intention to slip in private shows.

That's really fascinating. Why don't you just share the stream based on partial files (like the original site is doing)? Your way of sharing makes it possible to download the whole video with a third part plugin.

Because our way works far more efficient which makes lags more unlikely.

Yes but I'm writing about sharing and not recording (what of course your priority because it helps you to earn money). Or is it your intention to allow other to download the stream from your site?

One of the points behind csh is, you can't prevent recording completely, so why bother and make it instead more convenient to use csh instead.

Basically yes but from a economic view it would have more sense that you share the regular stream and tell "if you want a better quality then buy our content".

Yes and no.

But we have to strike a line between what users want and what models want.
And exposing the idea like this (what csh does and offer) to models is already difficult enough.
